Flooring experiences general wear with use over time. The following are a few general things to keep in mind, regardless of the flooring type you may have in your home.
· Avoid Sharp Objects: Sharp or pointed objects can leave indentations or scratches on your floor, potentially damaging your product.
· Watch Your Feet: Don't walk on your floor with stiletto heels, spiked golf shoes, or cleats.
· Watch Your Pet's Nails: Keep your pet's nails trimmed to prevent them from scratching your floor.
· Protect the Floor When Moving: Use a dolly when moving heavy furniture or appliances. It is recommended that you put down a piece of quarter inch plywood or Masonite to protect the floor. Never try to slide or roll heavy objects across the floor.
